No roof rack on the Swiss Adventure?
I'm thinking the first mod on our one is changing the rear LEDs- the spare wheel hits the big diameter standard tail light if the door is opened forcefully... And the standard front side lights look wrong with the led headlights too. I think roofrack was optional for Switzerland. Not everybody want that, certainly not those who use covered parking garages. Also those "side underbody protector panels" people here are often interested in were an option in Switzerland. Either that, or the more usual side steps could be chosen here. I see some Adventures here on the road with either/or. This particular Adventure for sale has removed whichever it came with from the factory, and replaced them by the Entreq rock sliders.

Brian, I cannot say anything for certain about that without having seen both items in detail. Olaf would remain your best judge. He is occasionally on the forum here, so hope he reads this and lets you know something, or maybe give a quick educated answer in this very thread. If for some reason it does not happen any time soon, let me know by PM and I will contact Olaf about it then.
As to the core of your question, I don't know how these Entreq treesliders really connect to the chassis, but that must be pretty serious stuff, but usually those connections do not show in the pictures about the item. Now, I would not at all say no either for now, as when looking at below pictures, it seems that the treesliders are more or less the same shape as the thin side under door panel. All a matter of the connections of course, my feeling is that you might have to "adapt" those cosmetic under body Adventure "protection" panels for accommodating the treeslider connections. Now, that said, what about the idea to remove those cosmetic panels and sell them? Surely should fetch good money. Money you can use for some real quality treesliders which with their extensions can be used as steps to make your truck entry more easy. Just a thought. Here some pictures to support my above comments. Eric Click image to enlarge Now, why do I like those mudflaps in above picture so much? the Adventure´s underbody protection may look nice but it is heavy and collects dirt a lot. I do not know what it is good for......

I spotted this very nice Adventure with all its upgrades for sale now three months ago, it now finally moved on apparently as it ain't listed anymore. Hopefully to someone who is also not going to decide after a few weeks that he rather should have bought a D4.

I was wrong. It apparently did not sell when I saw it disappear from the autoscout website. Now another 4 months later, or 7 months from its original listing, it is listed there again from the same original owner. All the same feature, but asking price now 22.000CHF less than initially... With all high end the upgrades, both visible and underbody, seller is ready to take a hit now. At this current asking price this is a good deal if you value German top quality upgrades.
That, and the fact that big numbers of brand new Autobiography/Adventure/Heritage (the latter a bit less in numbers)models remain for sale here for many months at shrinking premiums from original list prices confirms that the craze to own one of the last has come to an end.
