Just beautiful. If there was ever a desire to return to the UK, those shots and what they represent, would be as good a reason as any. Do another batch popping in to a gorgeous country pub for an ale, followed by a visit to a local butcher to pick up some sausages, and I'll book my ferry ticket....
PS SWMBO obviously lives you, asking her to wade across the ford so that she take some photos of you as you drive across? I mean really.....  Monsieur Le Grenadier

You might just get lucky with the country pub photos!
Tonight we meet up with the local branch of the series 1 and series 2 club 
Should be a pleasant evening with a pie and a pint..

Ian, another set of great photos - I assume you're both wearing sunglasses? Did you get pelted my many bugs?
I went out for a drive last night and the windscreen and front are peppered with the remains of insects. |

Yes, we wear tinted safety glasses,
Don't fancy normal sunglasses 
I had a fly or a bee hit me last year at 40mph and it wasn't good

Did someone mention country pub photos? Not a great photo, but a very enjoyable 100 mile round trip through the Suffolk countryside to the local Series II club meet last night:

Your wish is my command....
So this morning I had a very last minute email asking if we would like to go to a pub meet in South Oxfordshire? Bit of a no brainer for me! So off we go in DSV, a bite to eat and a drink, meeting up with some great Land Rover folk. While relaxing, we hear tractors coming down the lane next to the pub all pulling trailers full of people! Turns out tonight was their annual summer salstis road run/pub crawl 
Turned out to be another great evening in the Land Rover.
