only problem is no kettle and bit too big to work in most of south west to recover 60` truck have have followed sat nav down lane only big enough for horse and cart and land rovers

 Click image to enlarge I was once "recovered" by this Cheshire based truck it was a Kenworth though. Awesome lump of gear but all he could do for me was chain up the trailer axle and escort me to the depot

The digger recovery from the bog is a good read 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

Was chatting to some of their drivers (and Mick Goulds) at the Truck Racing at Brands Hatch a couple of years back. I used to work for HGG, I only drove that thing once, its got the turning circle of the QE2! not great when you've got near 60ft of artic suppended on the underlift This was my weapon of choice, Click image to enlarge |

Surely it can't have been a bigger turning circle than a Disco2? NOTHING has a TC that big!
I am not actually surprised, it is apparent from Ron Pratt's videos that his similar rotator has a spectacularly large turning circle and lack of manoeuverability. I still want one though! |

Me too. It is clearly hyped up in the usual way to make it appeal to sheeple, but it is more informative than, say, IRT. It is a shame that it is so hard to watch in the UK if you don't have satellite, Netflix, etc. I can't find a UK-watchable version of S3E10 at all.  |

Only that that one episode has been totally pulled from YouTube, whereas all the others (at least to the end of S4) are available if you persevere.
All the official videos are blocked for UK viewing, but can be viewed if you pretend you are Canadian! |

Very slick, the inversion of the artic tanker was very expertly done! I also like the tracked thing making off with the Beemers, I haven't seen one of those before. The recovery industry has come a long long way from the LWB Land-Rover and Harvey Frost crane, and the ex-Army Scammell Pioneer or Explorer for the heavier jobs. There is some serious money invested in that collection! Most impressive. |
