UNESCO Dolomites world heritage site Tre Cime di Lavadero / Drei Zinnen, depending on if you're South Tyrolean or from further south - last Sunday during our summer sojourn to Northern Italy, shown on the second shot. We walked around it as far as the altitude (2330m) and my 8 month old daughter in a backpack would allow, and as it was 20 degrees on one side, and 2 degrees on the other, we stayed on the sunny side
 . Definitely worth visiting, even if the access road has a 25 Euro toll. Apologies for poor pictures - I was toast by that point and still had a 2 hour drive home that afternoon:

Spent Saturday out in Kielder forest helping out on the Kielder 4x4 Safari raising money for The Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team.
