Hi
I am very interessted in the tent, changingroom (and maybe the foxwing). Is it still for sale? And could you send me some more photos to my mail: ole@stenholt.com please? Kind regards, Ole Stenholt, Denmark Sadly too many horses and too much work means there's no longer enough time to head off on adventurous camping trips, so decided it's best to sell my Overzone tent. For those that don't know: The Overzone is from the original roof tent manufacturers and makers of the Maggiolina, and the Overzone is Autohome’s flagship folding tent. A larger version of the Overland, the Overzone folding roof-top tent incorporates a pull-out porch extension, which covers the built-in ladder, providing sheltered access and offering more internal space with total protection from the elements. The Overzone is built upon a strong, lightweight aluminium frame, encased in breathable, water-proof 420g heavy duty cotton fabric in keeping with the world renowned Autohome tradition. There are two triangular windows with storm flaps which can be operated from inside the tent, a rear door which can be poled out to provide sheltered ventilation as well as fly/mosquito screens to all doors and windows. Internally there is a thick and comfortable memory foam mattress and built-in storage pockets. The tent has been little-used, stored inside, recently re-proofed and is in excellent condition. It includes all the necessary fittings to attach to a roof rack or bars and a heavy-duty cover. RRP £2,365 Also included is Autohome’s ‘under-mattress, air circulation system’ RRP £155 Also included is the ;Autohome Overzone Changing Room’ which is quick to erect and includes four sides which zip together and hook underneath the fold out part of the tent, fully enclosing the ladder to create a changing or day room. The sides feature windows and a door which can be poled out to create a porch and come supplied in their own carry bag. This is the 4x4 version which is ‘taller’ to ensure the sides reach ground level from a higher vehicle. RRP £600 Total RRP £3,120 Pricewise, I reckon half the RRP would be a good buy for someone, so call it £1,500 for the tent and changing room. I also have a Foxwing awning with zip on sides if someone's looking for the all the gear! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge[/quote] |

I'd appreciate your thoughts on the overzone, by pm if you like. I had a hannibal tent that was so loosely made it flapped in the breeze in brecon and kept me awake all night. I now have a maggiolina on my trailer which is great. now the family is bigger i need a second tent. i can't decide between either 2nd maggiolina or overzone on top of the land rover. the overzone will take less rack space, but i wonder if i'll repeat the hannibal experience. 110 Defender 300tdi & Penman trailer with ally exped top and roof tent

Not sure, but I have used mine in the cold without any problems, they are well made, the standard one is tight and quiet in anything but a gale, the one with the enclosed ladder makes a bit more noise, but not too bat if set up properly. 80" 1948
