Getting there matt, looking more like a landy now! I have to change the down pipe on mine, I have a leak on the flexi section so that will be getting binned a long with the cat. But that's one job on the to do list at some point Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Bit of an update
Not much has really happened at all over the last month to month and a half. Since selling the D2 i went on a last minute birthday holiday to Budapest, and picked up my new Daily car and the 90 has been put on a back burner as i have had a new toy to play with lol. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge I did however purchase 2 wide angled propshafts as i realised the 90 wont move with out them. Just read from the start and that's looking good. I also have a jcw mini with 7500 mile on it now. Just had to rotate the tyres as the fronts have been chewed. They are mega soft. Great fun though. Love the exhaust noise in sport.

Ye, hopefully the 90 will be finished with in the next month. i keep syaing that lol...... Awesome i do love my JCW only a baby with 800miles on it atm. That exhaust noise is very naughty in sport mode especially when it pops and bangs when dropping it from 4th to 2nd haha. Lets see if i can get to 7500miles on my front tyres haha 1995 Land Rover Discovery 300tdi - Sold 1989 Land Rover 90 - Rebuilding/built - its a project 2002 Land Rover Discovery TD5 - Sold 2017 Mini JCW F56 - Current Daily Driver |

I am not a fan of the Bmw minis, but I think these are the hot hatch to have now over anything else really now on the market.
Are you going map it up a little? But then again with it been spanking new brand, I recon it would void the warranty. Nice colour mind, Also hurry up and get the defender sorted! Which engine do you have in the Mini,..power & torque? Not really up with Minis, but I think I read that 2L & 170KW was about the top engine at the moment? Pickles. |

For someone like me who has only ever driven land rovers since passing my test, i havent really been clued up on the hot hatch scene lol, i would have like a classic mini as my fiances parents have classics but i wanted something that was going to be no hassel with 3yrs warranty as my daily driver As its only 4weeks old i dont think i will be mapping it anytime soon. plus going from a landy that gets to 60mph in about a day to this that gets to 60 in 5.9seconds its quick enough atm As to getting the Defender sorted i know i need to get my ass in to gear its almost there.. just all the little niggly bits that take up the time lol 1995 Land Rover Discovery 300tdi - Sold 1989 Land Rover 90 - Rebuilding/built - its a project 2002 Land Rover Discovery TD5 - Sold 2017 Mini JCW F56 - Current Daily Driver |

This is a 2L TwinPower Turbo, With 231bhp (which i think is about 170kw) and torque it has 236ft-lbs. Yes it is the top engine that BMW Mini. I think the Cooper S also has this engine in it as well 1995 Land Rover Discovery 300tdi - Sold 1989 Land Rover 90 - Rebuilding/built - its a project 2002 Land Rover Discovery TD5 - Sold 2017 Mini JCW F56 - Current Daily Driver |

First time i have ever had a car like this, all my others since passing my test have been land rovers. But yes it is a fantastic car!! and for some reason it seems to be more responsive than a land rover 1995 Land Rover Discovery 300tdi - Sold 1989 Land Rover 90 - Rebuilding/built - its a project 2002 Land Rover Discovery TD5 - Sold 2017 Mini JCW F56 - Current Daily Driver |

Just be careful with the speed as its not like a standard defender, you can soon lose your licence 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.
