So what have you got - pictures please!
I'm looking for a set of small LED work lights for the back of my 90 fitted above the rear windows to the rear quarters. I don't want to light the world up with them just handy for when I'm working at the back of the vehicle also reversing down the side of my house at night. I'll be wiring them to a separate illuminated switch on the dash. I was driving behind a lovely grey 110 along Southend seafront earlier this week, he had a small pair fitted above the rear windows either side exactly what I am looking for - hope he reads this! 2010 Defender 90 HT The longer I live..... I got this Labcraft unit, painted the housing to match the car so it blends in.

I've got a single 48w light mounted centrally above the rear door. It's wired so that it comes on with the reverse lights when the side lights are on or can be independently switched.

I've got a couple of S18 Scenelite's on my van, fantastic spread and very bright.
THe Landy has the original twin 55W halogen worklight, never quite got round to replacing it! |

I have got a Spotlight which is wired up through a relay to the back using a small switch with a red dot on it.
Think the whole setup cost £40 off ebay a while ago from boltonbits. Very happy with it - loads and loads of light when required. Click image to enlarge Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

A head torch as it goes walk about when I do. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

I've done the same as mark_d and the fittings look subtle when switched off but are very bright when switched on. Keith

May I ask how is the light reflection with this, does it make a good area of light behind the vehicle? It looks subtle and a good unit. May I ask where you purchase this unit? |

Wired my rear work lights through a relay controlled by remote key fob. So I can switch them on when walking up to the truck in dark car park or field.

Hi proloForet. To answer your questions, I bought the light from Mud UK. The light is good for me. Not incredibly bright but has a nice spread. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
