That's a shame, I could do with something a bit softer than hard plastic. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to  us off.

Nakatanenga do a leather covered aluminium one but to me it doesn't look much of an arm rest. Hard to tell unless you try it really.

yes. it is small and puts padding around the locking piece. It in bag and i never use because i was not sure what it was!
I sell now if someone want for 20euro and I posting to France for that, or 29euro and i send to UK. My elbow is more forward than where it rests, the Mud one moves, this one is fixed. Perhaps good for drivers with seat more back so this is where their elbow rests - on the lock. |

Round here they seem to be alphabetically named, starting with Aaron, then with have Brad and Chad. Chad has delivered mine to my designated safe place this afternoon, and I am looking forward to getting my mitts on it when I get home. Incidentally when DPD first started, round here at least, their service was diabolical. Now however they are without doubt one of the best parcel delivery firms with consistent and excellent service, and the tracking system they use is second to none. Good work, DPD! |

I had to go out and see where my elbow was. Its just forward of the lock so yes for me also this one is probably too far back. I'll have to see how comfortable the MUD one is when I get it back here. I suppose you could always add some padding and cover with leather if you are good at that sort of thing. I could ask my OH to take it to India where they would do that for very little money. I'm tempted to get my door cards done out there but they are a tad large to take really. |

...well that was something that I never knew I needed! Mine arrives tomorrow!
The plastic might make it a bit "functional" but if it works well I might cover it over with some fake leather like the seat backs?  MY15.5 110XS CSW

Mine arrived today and fitted.
Doesn't look too dissimilar to the door card so doesn't look out of place. I've added some thin adhesive foam padding for a tad extra comfort, will see how it feels on the run to work tomorrow...  |

Seems to solve an age old problem. I like it a lot
I can't see why you couldn't cover it if you wanted. It is plastic like most car interiors so isn't that unusual. I think I have said it on here before, there used to be a company round here called the truckers arm rest. I think it was a similar design, but for HGV drivers and the armrest was universal. I did try and find some info but they are long gone. |

sorry, I meant the defendoor.co.uk website is dead, not mudstuff.
Btw, cracking service from Kevin & Fay at Mudstuff: I queried about the Defendoor, and they simply told me they would go fetch one from the company next door and include it in my order. They instructed me to add an LED number plate light to the order and then they will substitute that with the cover. To top it all, the order ships tomorrow  --
