I did this last year and it was a great day out , bit of an auto jumble on as well. The off road track is very tame, a few puddles and a couple of hills so no great risk of damage unless you lose it. The kids enjoyed it though.

I'm fancying this too. Will be trundling down from West Yorks and making into a 2-3 day New Forest stay as a first experience with the roof top tent. Can anyone make any recommendations for a suitable camp site please? No kids/dogs with me.

There are lots of campsites in the New Forest. Roundhill is also a pretty good one and quite close to Beaulieu. Best to book in advance though. Turning up on spec in the summer months is a bit of a lottery as they're quite often full at weekends. Darren
