![]() Click image to enlarge Firstly apologies to the forum mods, I wasn't sure who to notify re selling my defender, I can however promise I'm not abusing the site ! I'm selling my 110xs that I've owned for the past four years. It has 122k on the clock, full service history with oil changes every six months. The previous owner was a motorway surveyor and it had 105k when I bought it, all motorway miles funnily enough . I'm only selling it as I have purchased my dream defender, a Keswick green, 110 double cab. This has been maintained regardless of cost. Had new clutch and all new injectors a few months ago. Has a fresh MOT and has just been serviced. It drives faultlessly with no rattles or vibrations and pulls like a train. Starts on the button everyday. I have had the chassis professionally waxoyled every other year. It has two faults that I would sort if I had the time. One is the fan direction dial for the heater blower will only turn to the first two stops (foot well and de-mist) not the others. It appears the cable behind the dash has slipped and needs adjustment. Secondly , if you leave the key in it or do not lock it for a period of time, the immobiliser seems to arm itself , not sure if that's normal or not. You need to lock it, count to ten and unlock it , then it works. It's been like this since I've had it. A forum search seems to show it as being fairly normal . The Boost Alloy wheels will come with it. They are in good condition with TR's fitted that have plenty of tread except for the spare. I will also remove the winch and bumper as I've only just bought them and would rather not make a loss on them ! The defender is about to have a full Valet so will take plenty more pics when this is done ! An absolutely genuine , nothing to hide sale. Just needs to go to make room for another. I'm asking 16k ![]() Click image to enlarge Last edited by Bluericky on 29th Sep 2017 8:25am. Edited 1 time in total |

Yes, she's a cracker.
I've just picked up the replacement as I'd always wanted a Keswick green double cab , similar mileage but entry spec and drives terribly compared to the XS I'm selling. I must be mad but I got it for a decent price even though it needs a new clutch etc . Kangaroos along in 1st and second and clatters away when in neutral . None of the doors shut properly and it's had some very ropey repaint in areas . Not a very honest defender ! Here's a pic , looks good though !! ![]() Click image to enlarge |
