Third Brake light

Hello All

I have a 2002 90 hard top that i am looking to install a third brake light

I have most of the parts and almost ready to make a start - however does any know what the factory uses to bond the adaptor to the glass.

And if so does anyone know the part number

I just used the stuff for sticking on rear view mirrors.

my local autofactor place does it. costs about £3, you get a little tube, and some gauze stuff you cut to size.

Seems to stick OK. mine fell off a couple of times (it doesn't stick anything like the factory parts, god knows what they use)

in the end, i used some black panel bonding sealer.... it hasn't moved since!

I think that your suggestion will be the best I could not work out what the factory uses either
