Agree I am shaming Trek Overland, expensive postage, items take days to arrive and they never answer emails. Flashy web site but bad customer service at least in my opinion. I wonder if they're now wondering what happened to make so many people order them up today, all of a sudden!

Best they get in contact with Martin with a bit of site sponsorship
It's good to hear such positive feedback. There is such a lot of negative feedback about many suppliers on here (and much of this feedback is probably well justified) |

Are they padded or just hard plastic? Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

We've got 3 of them for the fleet at work. I've just done a couple of 2hr drives in our 130, and a few short trips in my 110. Its a mixed bag for those with bony elbows. If you have a fairly reclined posture, with standard wheel, as I do in the 110, it works brilliantly, and the flat of my arm lies comfortably on the armrest and is brilliant.
However in the 130, which is a truck cab, so much more upright, with a smaller wheel with a pretty thick boss (too thick really but I didn't buy it) it makes your arm a lot more crooked, and your elbow ends up resting towards the front edge of it, right on the ball which can be quite awkward and sore after a while. Not too bad if you're wearing a jacket. If you're driving with the window down its fine, but for those that drive with the window down all the time, that doesn't really help! Well not only are MUD UK super efficient, polite! very fast and keep you informed on your orders progress by email, they also use a superb delivery service called DPD.
Just had an email from MUD informing me that my parcel will be delivered between 09.32 - 10.32 this morning to my MIL in Kent. Not only that but also a link to a live tracking map showing Kevin the drivers current location and a photo of him. Amazing service Now I just hope Kevin bangs on the door really loudly as the old coot is as deaf as a bat Thats how you run a business! They make you feel a valued customer and not an inconvenience like some I could mention. Now just take a look at your international delivery charges and you'll be even better guys. EDIT: Kevin is flying though his deliveries this morning! LOL I think his van has had a remap. |

It's Scott from DPD in Norfolk and he delivered mine to my Mum and Dads who are also deaf (by the sound of the TV blaring through the double glazing of an evening). We had a 14.08 - 15.08 time window and it arrived 14.10 (which is just as well as they were off out at 14.20).
Scott must have a hard bang (that really doesn't sound good, does it? ) Couldn't agree more with you Riverboy about the service from both Mud and DPD |
