2011 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 ST Santorini Black
There was the V8 90 sw as we all know and recognise but there were a number of 90 hard tops released as 50th anniversary models too. They came in choice of colours either Woodcote green or cobar blue (Atlantis blue not an option on ht) same anniversary wheels, alloy gear knob and non numbered plaque to rear. Apart from that they were standard 300 tdi

You are correct. Rioja was offered too. Any tdi hard tops offered in Atlantis blue would be cobar blue - they were very similar but cobar was just a metallic. Woodcote green was my fave colour of that era.

United Kingdom 1998 Defender 90 300 Tdi PU Rioja Red
I have one of the 50th 300tdi's Hardtops.

Mine is Rioja Red with most, but not all of the 'bolt' on extras of the V8. They did not have the roll bar. Theys had alloy window winders, alloy gear knobs, checker plate, Rayleigh cloth, sunroof, Archen gray Tornado wheels with 365x75x16 BF Goodrich tyres, cast alloy badge on rear but not the same as the 50th numbered ones, leather covered tdi sytle steering wheel (no raised crash pad), alpine lights and rear windows in the hard tops, body coloured wheel arches, plus a couple of more bits that I cant remember at the moment.

If memory serves me correctly they were produced in three colour's, Red, Green and silver. They were in 90" & 110" configuration both hard top and county spec. Unfortunately LR did not keep any records of the ones produced.

The real 50th anniversary Defenders are undoubtedly the 4.0 V8's but there is also a fairly small batch off 300tdi's to compliment them.

Gingez, I'm contemplating doing my trailer in an older LR green.
Is your profile pic the Woodcote? Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

No, mine is bronze green which is a clear over base non metallic. Woodcote was a clear over metallic. It was green / brown and suited the Defender nicely.
