Fitted More Entreq Goodies...........
I got a parcel from Entreq on Friday and it contained the snow cover and blanket I ordered Thumbs Up Unfortunately due to having to work yesterday (Saturday) I had to wait till today to fit them Very Happy So took lots of pictures (sad, I know Very Happy ) and I am delighted with the quality and how well engineered they are.
So the Blanket comes with a rubber gasket and stainless steel screws with plastic washers

The other item was the snow cover, and again it fits perfectly following the curve of the wing:

The snow cover will fit a naked wing and one fitted with chequer plate, also the SS screws are long enough for both options.

I did have to wait a while on getting these as they had to be manufactured. There will be stock now of RHD snow covers and blankets if any one likes them enough to buy them Thumbs Up

Now Entreq kept me up to date with the manufacturing process so to keep me in the loop and this was done through email. I received some pictures showing me what stage my order was at in the manufacturing process:

Very pleased with the whole process and love the new look of my Puma now that these items have been fitted. I like the way black add-ons add to the character of my Stornoway Grey Defender. I know that the equipment offered by Entreq can seem expensive to some, but in my opinion the cost is justified with the quality and workmanship you receive, its impressive. IMHO Thumbs Up

Went down to the coast yesterday afternoon after I fitted these products and can report that my left leg was still cooked to the same temperature as before. Never noticed a reduction in heater output, will keep an eye on it though over the next week or so and report back Thumbs Up

http://www.entreq.de/products/reinforcemen...l-274.html

It states on the site that the above blanket is for the left side but the picture shows it on the right. If you buy it just add a note that it is for a RHD vehicle and you will be fine Thumbs Up

I assume from the machining marks in the picture that the blanket is made from ali but is the intake also ali?

I'd really really like a pair of these but the price is pretty steep isn't it?

Hello I was interested in the snow covers for the wing top, where do you purchase these from and roughly how much? Maybe a copy of the web link could help.
Thanks

Pete,

the blanket is made from ali which has been anodized before being powder coated. The snow cover is made from Stainless Steel and you can get plain or black powder coat. I personally feel the products warrant the price, the snow cover comes in at 142eu and the blanket at 81eu plus 19eu postage, so all in delivered for both items it's 242 euros about £207.

HTH Brian.
