You won't be disappointed. You'll find you need to lever the front one to meet with the bracket and the rear one might need a ratchet strap to compress it to meet with the bracket. Wire brush the studs before removing the nuts as they'll get very tight and stiff otherwise.

Oh and get a tap ready for the 2 holes you need on the rear diff casing. They are threaded but they'll be full of road crap.

Just a few things I found out last weekend. Craig Rogers

Rear diif guard fitted Thumbs Up

The front one just doesn't want to fit around the front diff. It just seems too small to go around the bulge in the front of the diff.

Craig - was it a really tight fit? Did you have to remove the steering bars to get it to fit?

No, but I've heard this before that others have had issues with the front and not the back. Mine was the other way around.

Just be brute and it will all bend into shape. It's what I had to do with the rear one and a ratchet strap as it was miles out.

Hi all,

I phoned QT/Wildcat earlier and apparently they're not manufacturing the Wildbear diff guards for Bearmach any more Sad.

Does anyone have any other recommendations? I'm looking for front/rear guards for a 2009 Defender 90.

Cheers,
Richard

Unfortunately ARB do not make their diff cover for puma axles. Here is something similar https://www.devon4x4.com/d44-heavy-duty-di...black.html Defender 110 SW MY2011 2.4tdci decat, no EGR

You could always try APT Fabrications here in Oz, Ben's gear is top notch, postage might bite a bit though.

Ooops just noticed that yours was a 90, the above link is for the P38 rear on the 110.

This is the one for the 90, http://aptoffroad.com.au/browse-catalogue/...pathway-13

Thanks for the advice. I've got a feeling that shipping from Australia will be a tad on the expensive side though!

If the QT / Wildbear versions aren't around. I have the firmer I'd definitely be looking at the D44 HD diff pans. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Just an update on this in case anyone's interested.

Just phoned LRS offroad this morning.

They stock the Corsetti diff guards at ~ £117 but they've also started making their own clone version at ~ £85. Apparently the only difference is the label on it.

Cheers,
Richard
