It'll sit just in front of the "coin tray" - not sure any ash would last long in there! It will however cover the demister vents (unless I drill a neat line of holes on each side of the bar).

The headlight surrounds are straight off a Series 3.
Pretty sure the bumper and bumperettes were from Craddocks.
The tailgate set up is purely metal. There's a link somewhere earlier in the thread. There should also be links to the supplier of the stainless bits. I can't remember off the top of my head.

The galvanised tailgate hinges are "Purely Metal" - they are specialist metal fabricators who have a website that will come up on google, although the website itself doesn't feature the specific parts. I think they have a facebook page too, although I don't use FB.

The hinges are complemented by stainless fixings from "YRM Metal Solutions" who basically do stainless bits for Landies.

Nakatanenga / entreq ones are essentially the same series part, but for more dosh. They do however do the larger cover that you'll need to use on newer defenders to cover all the big holes that are underneath the plastic headlight trim. You'll only know if you need these once you get the plastic trim off.

I just picked up a pair of second hand series surrounds on ebay for £15, which I'm going to repaint to use on my red one.
