limped 70 miles home from work last night with a severe rattle from underneath. A stab in the dark says it's a UJ. peeing down outside today so can't get a look, probably going to buy new rear prop as splines have very slight play!. Big Cry My 109 thread

can you not just buy a replacement UJ for the prop? they are only peanuts rather than buying the full lot. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

yea you can, but the splines in the sliding joint have a bit of play in them too! so though might as well just get whole prop, that way i sort both Jens of it out! Thumbs Up My 109 thread

And it aint stopping there! going into indie next week for new cambelt, rear disks snd pads, pinion seal, and bearings!
