Well, it's here and very good I have to say - drives great. Has a couple of minor issues which hopefully will be easy enough to address locally........ Killed a lot of flies on the way home!
Bentley GT V8S was pretty cool to drive - and I always wear shorts!! |

Awesome! Do post some pics when you can!
Surprised to hear it comes away from Twisted with niggles! Hopefully you manage to get them sorted easily. 'Killed a lot of flies on the way home...'
Mmmm, I bet he is just referring to running out of fuel, driving the Twisted installed LS3 a bit hard! YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

Looks good. There are various spec LS3, what power & torque is in this one, any pics of interior, under bonnet etc? Have you tried to source one with an LSA in it?..that is the GM factory supercharged version, massive power & torque, with exactly the same driveability,..it would not cost that much more,..instal costs would be virtually the same! Excited!, Pickles. |

That converted Heritage soft top looks lovely.
On the LSA suggestion... Having got an LS in a 90 running probably around 400bhp I can safely say the one thing it really needs is more power! Not! In all honesty it's ridiculous. More than about 40% throttle is just really not required. At all. Ever. It kicked down to 3rd the other day at about 50kmh on about 60% throttle in the damp and just spun the tyres instantly. An LSA would just add extra complication and heat which really isn't needed. You would also potentially have more packaging issues. 2001 90 HT 6.0LS/6spdAuto. 2003 90 td5 soft top. 2014 90 XS SW 2.2. |
