I've looked at Land Rover assist web page and it doesn't explain very well. Is this something you get with a new one or can you subscribe or will they help me with my old 2007?

Assist only comes with a new vehicle, extended warranty option or possible used vehicle from a main dealer.

I noticed that if I leave the car unlocked for an extended period (i.e.: overnight), the car will not start, unless you click the lock button on the remote, and then click the unlock button. That was my problem.

As dorsetsmith ^ A hive of knowledge and an asset to this forum (if you don't mind me saying)
When I picked mine up from the main dealers, the sales bloke told me to use the unlock button on the fob, if the car failed to start or had been stood a while. Never needed to do it, but it seems unusual that he would have passed on that specific piece of knowledge |
