Put up with it all winter but my partner has asked for the cool draft in the passanger footwell be sorted out ...
I took a look and the draft seems to be coming from the recirculation inlet in the footwell ... not sure how to go about fixing it ... any ideas? Hi all
many thanks for all the 'useful' tips!! investigation complete and the cold air was proven to be coming in from the re-circulation vent in the passanger footwell. It was due to the re-circulation selector not fully operating so allowing outside air into the system. Fixedx by working the selector several times till it became free, so now it closes with a resounding 'thump' sealing the inlet. & keeping the cold air out & warm air in! Results are a a warmer wagon and a happy partner Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 |
