92 Tdi seat box rubber cover
Howdy gang.

I am trying to source a rubber seat box cover for my 92 Tdi.
I can find loads for the TDci but not having any luck finding them for our older trucks.
Any steers would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

Mac.

Chi Mac. Are you looking for the LR original rubber sound proofing or just any that fit? Can highly recommend the Wright offroad rubber matting system... Simply Awesome...

Guy.

Can't thank you enough. I've just had a look on the website and the system looks great.

Thanks again.

Mac. 👍

Hi, recovered the seat box in my 98 300 tdi hardtop with a one piece replacement obtained from LRI. It comes with the spray glue to secure it down. Fits really well. I didn't use the glue as I found that a combination of the seat frame bolts and the new plastic corner protectors, held the new 'rubber carpeting' sufficiently well.
I am struggling to upload pictures, otherwise I would have enclosed a few to show you.
Kind regards, Simon

Cheers Simon.

I was dreading paying for the wright off road system as it
Is a little pricey.

The LRI is cheaper however it looks inferior to the
WOR matting.

I'm just stripping seats out at the moment, patching up a few small corrosions
And re-spraying the seat box cover and foot wells.

I'll be raiding my Landy money box shortly.

That actually looks really neat. I'll have a look at the LRI
Version.

Many thanks.

Awesome. I've been looking at similar options for my 1987 LR90 truck cab. Preferred the price of the LRI kit but not keen on glueing it down. Where did you get the seat box corner protectors? Did you do the footwell and transmission tunnel as well?

No the seat box cover is not glued down but held by the MUD seat risers and the corner protectors. The corner protectors came from YRM and took 5 mins to fix in. My transmission box cover was ok and scrubbed up well. That ruber cover holds down the seat box cover in the middle section. Kind regards, Simon

Thanks. And sorry to hijack your thread ManCub. Not sure I can justify £370 on the Wright Off-road set, but £120 for the LRI seat box and floor mats could be a runner.

No apologies required Alpacaman. All 1 team here.

I'm with you; having looked at the WOR solution I recognised it as being a top end piece of kit however had to reach for my angina spray when I saw the price. I was a little dubious
About the quality of something a third the price however Simon has quelled those concerns.

All the best chaps.
