Having just done my hockey arms I'd say wire wheel in either brush or grinder. Grinder will be faster for large areas. Ed

I've found the abrasive bristle brushes really effective at removing rust whilst leaving an even finish.

Great minds! I did mine yesterday for the same reason. I used Eastwood Extreme Chassis Black, which seems to be a bit darker than Buzzweld

Looks good
![]() After replacing the mud flap mounts with new ones, it seems to emphasise the buzzweld black as not quite black, is that normal, is the CIO a final coat, or is it meant to be over sprayed with a 'black' black ? ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge JD 2008 TDCi 2.4 XS CSW |

Are the mudflap mounts Genuine?
They look very shiny. Probably dull and corrode soon anyway. From new they never matched the crossmembers. We all need to remember that is a chassis crossmember and not a body panel when discussing finish. ![]() |

How many aerosol cans of RCP and CIO do you need for the rear crossmember and how many aerosol cans of Dinitrol3125 for the inside of it?
Thanks |
