The sooner my engine gives up, the sooner I can get a 3.2tdci. I'm on 97,500miles. 2009 2.4TDCi XS Utility Wagon.

Yesterday, I disconnected the battery, removed the fan cowl.
Slackened off the Acc drive belt, removed the old drive belt. Removed the Acc drive belt tensioner. Fitted a new belt, Genuine £18 cost all in. (Need changing every 55k I believe.) There was definitely more slack in the original, not much but some but condition was still good so kept as a spare. âï¸âï¸God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 âï¸âï¸ |

Technically yesterday, took LR to Simmonites for 3rd service and first MOT.
MOT passed with no advisories (which I guess you'd hope for on a 3 year old truck with only 18,000 miles). Had Momo steering wheel fitted to replace my old smaller wheel which I bought when funds were short and was never happy with the Halfords look. Next step - phone call to Pete Bell for a remap to 170 |
