replace with a standard one and paint it well and waxoyl before fitting and then add a rear td5 tank which keeps it std parts.

Sounds interesting, is there much fabrication in adding the td5 tank? 1993 200 Tdi 90 CSW

depends on how you mount the new tank
its been covered loads of times in every different way possible including big custom tanks some folk move the batteries and fit one under the passenger seat instead. http://forums.lr4x4.com/topic/71138-td5-fuel-tank-in-200tdi/ there is a fairly good write up of job here |
