Today I cut a hole in the floor with an angle grinder and managed to avoid fuel lines and electrical wiring. To cut the reinforcement bars the hacksaw blade came in handy.

Also checked that there was power all the way back to the pump. So tomorrow I will hopefully get the pump out.

Today I managed to get the pump fitted. The most difficult part of the job was to get the seal between the pump and tank in place. After connecting the fuel lines and wiring the engine started after purging. A short test run confirmed that everything was fine. The job was completed with a cover over the hole which will make future pump replacement a piece of cake.

Thanks for all good advise Thumbs Up
