Only nicked, shame they didn't die Maybe it won't be too bad? Maybe you can rebuild her? Maybe they'll all die of brain cancer tomorrow The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results. As with all previous comments couldn't agree more...I expect the poor old Police will now be blamed if they're injured, still at least the justice system will look after them, I expect the scumbags will get on a nice TRAX course to show them the error of their ways. Since 1973...S1, Air Portable's, Defender's, but only my Wolf TUL HS GS remains

Seems that three stole it, only one was in it during the police pursuit, it hit a mondeo then turned over and I'm told hit some railings. Son of a mate (who used to own it) saw it and has said it looks bad, police say it's a write off (but then they thought it was either a Range Rover or a disco!) here's hoping it's not as bad as they say...
Sadly the one in it is only a little bit injured........... |

Update for what it's worth.
Driver admitted everything, only refused to name the other two, he is from Basildon area and at court on 5th May. The other two were in a silver car, no other details but ever little helps as they say. |

Given the 5-O are supposed to be keeping their eyes peeled for suspicious Defs, it's a bit worrying that such an easily identifiable, iconic vehicle can be mistaken by plod for a RR or Disco Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

But then most rr drivers don't know what a defender is either!!! The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.

To be fair the officer who picked it up knew what it w, he used to own a series 3, the ones who attended told him what they thought it was.
It is a bit worrying as he also said thefts of them has been a bit of a problem lately, gawd knows what they think they've been watching for........sigh. Still they knew enough to realise it was the stolen one, perhaps the number plate gave it away! |
