Brakelight Switch
Hi all

It seems neither of my brakelights are working.
The fuse seems to be ok and the bulbs work. Is it possible the brake light switch has gone?

Trouble is I am not sure where it is located?
I think it maybe in the pedal box but that looks inaccesable to me:(

I have a 1989 defender

Thanks

Open your bonnet and stand at the offside near the hinge. In front of you you'll see the servo ( the upright circular box) and the brake master cylinder with its fluid reservoir on top. At the back of the assembly by the bulkhead you'll see a switch with 2 wires going into it. This is the brake switch 😊
