I've had the colour match issue with them myself too.
Regardless, you cannot do a really good repair with them anyway. This is why myself and others suggested a professional company as I believe they use very fine airbrush instead. Arran - Something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw=3+m...p;_sacat=0 Along those lines anyway. Adhesive one side only, apply a little hair dryer heat. (Only to warm) to activate the adhesive and soften to shape. More tricker on intricate areas, or curved shapes. Easy as pie on flat surfaces. FWIW the genuine Land Rover touch up stick for Cairns Blue is similarly too dark.. Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...
