This one is at work at the moment, basically a piece of checker plate cut and bent fixed onto the rear swing away Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated CSK Automotive www.cskautomotive.co.uk Like us on Facebook - www.facebook.com/csklr Follow us on Instagram - @cskautomotive |

At the moment I've used the inside of multi bulbed Hella 3rd brake light inside the original to make it a bit more visable.

I have a rear mounted LED stop lamp, its on an older 90 so is in the position where the rear washer jet is on later models.
Got it off ebay, and does make a difference. Yet to fit to my newer Defender - but its on the to do list. Only cost about £15, also has a straight edge so is easy to get horizontal. Just do a search on: LED rear light stop and tail red lens streetfighter or here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-rear-light-s...0893988462 |

To go back to my OP topic.. Do any of the site sponsors sell a plinth for 2 NAS lights, so that the original hole(s) an be used when fitting an extra fog & reverse light each side. I'd rather do that than have a new hole cut...
I've found a plinth for 3 at Simmonites, but don't want to replace the traditional indicator, so only want a plinth for 2 lights. 4x4overlander import the LED high level brake light from Nakatanenga into the UK.
They are E marked so are road legal. They are a replacement light unit for the standard high level brake lights. Please note that the standard light unit is mounted on 2 x 6mm studs which are bonded to the glass. Be careful not to overtighten the fixing nuts. Finger tight. Brendan |
