Yes, as long as the radius arms are the same width, early ones were thinner. 80" 1948

Yes..
As above the radius arms are different so you will need the disco radius arms. The trailing arms are the same. IMHO as your doing the swap it is a good time to change all the bushes and A frame ball joint. It is likely the rear diff will have the three hole flange for the rotoflex coupling so you will need an STC4858 flange kit to replace the flange to match your propshaft. |

thank you for the info
I am in the process of buying a V8 disco which I want the axles from and the engine and box so I will also have all the hockey sticks as well, so will be an easy swap. for sure changing the bushes and A frame ball joint will be on the job list again thank you for the confirmation |

I think the change to 24 Spline occurred when the 300tdi was introduced, I'm sure the later 24 spline have the 3 bolt prop shaft arrangement on the pinion... Working towards Carry on camping!

'"Nerd" hat on'
The 24 spline axle appeared on the 94MY (VIN LA) discoveries so you basically got a '200' shell and engine and the better axles, The rotoflex 'runbber' doughnut didn't appear until 95MY (VIN MA) so there is discoveries that have the 24 spline axle but conventional diffs with 4 bolt flanges on the rear. |

The 1993 200 series disso I bought for the engine, box and axles had 24 splines, the 4 bolt diff flange, no rubber doughnut and the later wider hockey sticks.
I kept the rear trailing arms from the 90 as they were the earlier thicker/stronger type. Good luck! |
