I've just bought a foxwing and it came with two large brackets for mounting onto roof bars. If you search online for the instructions then you'll see the included brackets.
There are also other brackets available and with a bit of research you'll find you get ones that fit t-track and tubular. I got my awning from 4x4 overlander, Brendan was very helpful discussing the various options when I called. Also try this thread: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52132.html Keith |

Hi Churchy, have you actually got the Mantec bars?
If not consider the Manbo bars as they are already predrilled for the Foxwing. Has a hole drilled on top of the bar for the standard Foxwing bracket. The sides of the Manbo bars are also predrilled 2 holes at the right spacing for the back of the Foxwing. Depending on your height consider carefully what height you want the Foxwing fixed at. Thanks Brendan - yes already have mantec bars. Holes in top but not in the sides but that's overcomable!
Management arrived home last night and "we've" now decided that actually the oztent2 looks favourable! Trouble is to fund that I'd have to sell my north face expedition tent which has been all round the world and survived the worst weather that could be thrown at it! Discussions continue! |
