TDI300 Sump plug and P gasket
Hi Forum,

i am looking to put in a magnetic sump plug in the TDI, from reading there was 2 sizes and by using a 15mm or 19mm spanner on the bolt head - sounded easy ......

my De has a 17mm head on and i measured the thread and it was ~13.7mm Dia - I am guessing either the plug was changes and/or the sump was re threaded - any pointers on this.

lastly I have been advised a 'metal' P gasket is best - i see the Bearmach ones - are these metal and quality va standard paper sets,

I did order a non magnetic one from eBay in case mine didn't turn out correct.
