The rear engine lifting lug has come lose and dropped onto one of the air conditioning pipes, result a hole caused by it rubbing. All the fluid has drained out.

Could anyone please point me to the part number for the pipe?

If a 15 year old car has had the air con run all the time including in winter it will probably be fine. If a 4 year old car has only been used in summer the seals dry out and the gas leaks out.

It's a good ideal to get it changed every few years though, as it replaces the old lubricant mixed with the gas too, basically it's like doing an oil change.

I got mine done at Kwikfit, they said they would refund me though as they changed it and said it wasn't working - works fine, better than before infact.. Laughing But they do a deal where if it's not colder they don't charge, so if it's working fine but never been changed they basically do it for free.
