Did similar recently.
No issues removing the brace bar on my 2008 puma. Even though the puma is newer it has been problematic on occasion with dried up/corroded up bolts being a chore to remove intact, but these weren't. There are two compression tubes inside (to stop the bolt tension from crumpling the crossmember) that might fall out of place, but mine were nicely held in by dirt, yours likely will be too. Nothing a podger or driver cant hold in place though, simple stuff. Have fun ![]() |
