Looks great. Always said to myself I wanted to rebuild a Land rover but could never decide on which model. This is my 1st 90. on my 3rd 110.
Did think about V8 but if it ends up as a daily drive then it will hurt . Keep getting ideas about what to do but as I read up on fellow 90 restorations it will get me going Chris 2008 XS 110 2.4 Utility. Early Ninetys in original condition are becoming more and more collectable, as they become increasingly scarce due to rotting, wearing out and being "updated".
Restoring to original is more challenging (and rewarding?) than just bolting new or later bits on. But it's your vehicle...... |

Some one else said restore to standard etc. Yes I have also been thinking the same
If I did it will still need to come apart to overhaul the chassis etc. I did think that a good polish etc will bring the paint up also. The bulk head has only a small hole to attend to We were at Gaydon yesterday looking arround when the boss lady started asking about colours etc I have not even heard this thing run yet & she wants to paint it The plan it to put a battery on it next week end & see. It was running few months ago so we will see. Will get better pictures also of her internals Chris 2008 XS 110 2.4 Utility.
