Hi
it might not be an issue where you are, but in the UK we are very careful about security. You could delete the last 4 or 5 digits from the number and someone will still be able to help you with the specification without giving your full VIN on a public forum edit: if you search you will find plenty of links to online decoders, but these don't seem to work on newer models.
