Thanks John... But thats the prop shaft... I'm after the drive shafts (one piece)... I can find them for a 90 but not a 110... Or can you use the same part?..

Hi Tim. Wondering if we are having a cross globe terminology issue here... Are you referring to the half shafts (diff to drive flange? Or the drive flanges themselves?
Did LR ever fit the one piece half shafts to 110s? If not are they rated high enoug for them? Generally for cheaper parts you are best going to someone like Paddock Spares or LR-Direct. Most will do international postage. |

Probably a language barrier.. I'm UK based, So no international postage required.... I know LR changed to the single piece 1/2 shafts for the last year of production... My Bowler 90 has them (single piece) and I can get the LR part number for the single piece shafts... However at £289+vat Each I was wondering if there where any cheaper alternatives.

Same part 90 or 110. They're flipping expensive as you know. I'm trying to find them cheaper as well will keep you posted

You can pick up a pair of Ashcroft half shafts for that price (£300). Think that was for a Salisbury axle as I was looking recently.
Again I was looking at something different. Doh Ed 82 Hotspur Sandringham 6x6 95 Defender 110 300Tdi |

Hi Guys
OK so I came across this forum post in my search - so maybe this is not the right place to ask this, but I like top know what are the difference between these two images. According to me, the Defenders come out with both Front and Back wheels/shafts looking like my sample photo - Front FRONT BACK Joe |

The front has a seperate half shaft and drive flange, and the rear is a one piece halfshaft and flange Ray

OK thanks for that info. I thought it might be one piece vs not one piece. But what does it do or benifit me to have one piece halfshaft?

Having a one piece shaft and flange at the back just makes one less place for there to be slack in the driveline Ray
