After finally getting my spots switch engraved from the heated seat switch, it was now annoying not having the 12 volt ones the same and only having 1 spare blank left.
The engraver suggested to just respray the switches I could not find an off the shelf spray paint to match colour of the originals, so tried a plastic textured matt black. It's a little rough, but think it will work. Will see how the next 6 months treat the durability of the new paint, before redoing the switches… I did too many layers of paint and the text needs to be larger and bolder. Can probably see myself redoing all the switches so they match Looking forward to all your feed back... Old.. New.. Dash… With lights on, the new switches are fully legible (pity all those pics were blurred) Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. That 6 months flew by...
After 18 months now, the paint on the switches is holding & have not got around to updating the rest... Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. Douglas Adams 2012 2.2 Puma |

If you want the switch paint to match then just engrave a blank switch cap then drill a small hole for the indicator light. Ray
