[For Sale] Pasadena 5 tent
Hello folks.

Having a clear out here.
I have an Outwell Pasadena 5 tent for sale.

Obviously it's not a Land Rover but there is one in the picture.

£150 plus postage.

It's big so local collection would be ideal.

Only used it once.
Perfect condition.

Reason for sale is that we upgraded to a bell tent with a log burner!!

We have a very similar outwell tent, very good quality and load so room...

However like you I have been looking at bell tents... They vary in prices all over the place and from the look a 4 person one is quite small inside so I would probably go for a 5 or 6 person just for 4. Then cleaning them as they are generally quite light coloured if your on a muddy site and rain splashed up at the bottom?

What did you go with if you don't mind asking, I hear they are a super quick to set up, I do wonder what you do if its wet? when moving sites? how do you find it with a family.

Good luck with the sale as its a great tent Smile

I went for a Canvas Camp Sibley 500 Pro Tech.

Lots of the bell tents available in the UK are rebranded Canvas Camp's.

Very very very happy with it.

I also got the Frontier stove... but I would buy the newer frontier stove if I were you. It has the glass window so you can gain from the light and its also larger and therefore hotter.

Canvas Camp bell tents are the best! easily!

The tent is easily big enough to sleep 6, but... if you want to have a table set up it will sleep 4 comfortably.
I have a young family so we always have a table set up with a high chair.

Setting up is easy easy easy.

I bought it because I wanted a tent I could set up single handedly.

I looked at the Oz tents but by the time id got all the bits to make it practical for us it was £1600+.
I was looking at the RV5 plus tag along. Side walls etc. Plus... the OZ tent is 100% not a 30 second tent.

The Bell tent was £900 so significantly cheaper.

One pole.

The only thing with the canvas tent is that it is heavy. I can "easily" lift it down off the roof rack, but I need help getting it back up.
I stand on the roof rack, and use two long straps to loop down to the floor. the wife then roles the tent onto the straps and I pull whilst she pushes.

Set up takes me 30 mins to complete fully. I peg out the round tent, then insert the pole, through in the fan heater and the wife sets up inside whilst I finish pegging the outside.

In the rain is fine, in minus 6 degrees Celsius is fine, although you do need a land rover to pull out the pegs! Shocked

I love it. no regrets.

Scott,

Got to agree with Ross. We went with the 5m from Boutique Camping, as it was the best price at the time. https://www.boutiquecamping.com/tents-c1/c...sheet-p432

We comfortably accommodate 2 adults, 3 kids and the dog.

Quality of the tent is great, been up in all weathers no issue, and moves around far less than any other tent I've ever used in winds. We also order an inner tent to go with it, and to be honest quality isnt great and customer service wasn't brilliant either. Took months Evil or Very Mad

Only thing I would say against them, is the weight. The 5m is 30kg packed away. Not a massive weight but if your trying to get it on the roof, not the easiest, hence the sankey Whistle

Ross, apologies for stealing your thread, but here is a free bump

All good. More opinions are better than one.

We also got a 1/4 inner tent. For the small boy to sleep in. It was great quality and came with the tent the day after we ordered so can't complain.

We used it a bit, but then didn't bother. It takes up a lot of room (1/4 of the tent obviously) and once the boy is asleep only the apocolyps will wake him! Kinda!

I can't rate canvas camp enough.

Anyhow. Any one wanna buy the below? It's a bargain!
