Hi Blackwolf

It's a 2009. According to Canon, on the 1D range the shutter count is "proprietary info only accurately attainable by Canon" and it requires the camera sent to them to collect this info.
I have had a look at www.camerashuttercount.com which claims to be to extract the shutter count from an Image EXIF data and it says the count is 2558 but that seems low to me for the age of the camera. These are good for 300,000+ actuation's though.

Cheers, Dan.

Thanks for that. I know from my own experiences that Canon does make it hard to determine actuation counts.

I was tempted as a backup body but it is just a bit too old really (also the domestic authorities have expressed views which suggest that there would be Consequences Shocked ) so I had better pass.

It is a massively good camera at a very good price, someone will get a bargain!

Good luck with the sale. Thumbs Up

I would love it but I've got no lenses. Do you have anything (general usage) available?

I'm in Somerset (Mendip) at the moment. Any chance I could come and see it on Sunday?
