2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Orkney Grey

Speaking of getting new keys... I'd like to get the folding key as an additional key (keeping the two originals). However this folding keys requires the internals from the existing key, so how can I get a new 'standard' alarm fob? Do I have to get this from an LR Dealer? I can imagine what they charge! James

Mine still works a treat. Very happy with it. Has to be the cheapest modification I have made.

What did you do just cut key down and trim the remote? My locks are pretty stiff wondered if trying to turn my lock if it would just pop the remote open!

Key

I've got the one from Remote key , it's great and it's all in one ,key and Landrover alarm .
I've also just had a Griffin alarm fitted so saves me having two alarm fobs on my key ring . Defender 90 Tonga green . My 2007 County .2.4Tdci puma .
Too many other Discos to mention, including a V8 petrol Disco3 and diesel Disco 3 !! ( All gone)

Hi Jonnie, that's exactly why i'm looking; I'm having an extra system fitted and don't want to be carrying round 2 fobs!

I'm pleased with mine .
I got the key cut at my local Timpsons and works well . It takes moments to programs following their instructions and I returned the , thing, back to the company and received a refund . Cheers Defender 90 Tonga green . My 2007 County .2.4Tdci puma .
