It will be interesting to see what happens with it, I sold it to a guy in the trade for my asking price which I was happy with and think was fair value for money, I am not sure my new one is worth twice the money!
Maybe it is as simple as buy a Defender, get it dirty, take really bad photos, write an advert with loads of mistakes put it back on carzone and stick 5k onto the asking price. Personally I would not buy any car with high milage no matter how good it is rr sport don't do it still sorry to see it go Click image to enlarge |

Couple of pics from the dealer today. Better view of the under protection with the satin black powder coating.

First day, have to say the best Defender I have driven, first up, it goes straight down the road whatt a revelation that is. Very quiet and almost refined, gear box and transmission is smooth. Bluetooth car kit is really good, I was speaking to the dealer this morning and he could not believe I was driving, its that good. Doors close with a reassuring thud, there must be something extra inside them. Leather gear knob is really nice to use (unlike the svx which was crazy cold in the winter) and so is the leather steering wheel, no need to change to a Startech this time.
One negative, is the seats they do not compare with my previous Recaros. I will try to get used to them as I would like to keep this one fairly standard and also think I have spent enough on it. Talking of the dealer. Trinity Motors in Wexford. A huge shoutout to them. THEY WERE AMAZING TO DEAL WITH AND NOTHING WAS TO MUCH TROUBLE. This was a whole new experience for me having bought 12 Land Rover products before and over 60 other cars these guys are in a league of their own. Very relaxed and friendly approach. Its no problem to talk to the guys working on the car even in the workshop. They very much bought in to my experience of purchasing and just made it a very nice experience. Thank you James Murphy and all in Trinity. So when everyone in Ireland is buying a new Land Rover call them. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Looks great
Hope your all well. Hadnt realised you'd got rid of the black one, I did like that. Im going to be a bit out there and know you'll probably curse me for it but not a huge fan of the sawtooths. Think id be tempted by a set of the Je's pepper pot style that would go with the underbody protection or bowlers. Can see why you changed the twisted's though, they worked on the black but not so much on the adventure. Cheers Tom Defender puma dormobile camper |
