Well, it's been a while since I posted, but a year to the day that I bought the Defender, it's gone
Was picked up at lunch time after selling to a dealer friend. Soon to appear on their Approved Used list I'm sure. I'm going to miss it terribly, but my wife never fell in love with it, and my son, who I was hoping would take it on once he's old enough, was never interested. Didn't even want to keep the private plate that spelt his name I sold my Caterham to buy it, and I'm probably going to spend some of the money on another two-seater convertible - I do miss the wind in my hair on a Sunday morning. Likely to come from Hiroshima instead of Dartford this time though... So, expect a few bits an pieces to show up in the For Sale section soon - front rubber mats. rear mat, Brunel headlight surrounds and grille and the original front bumper. Also an Alpine KTP-445A amp and no doubt a few other bits and bobs. Enjoyed the banter on here, as well as the wealth of free advice and reading about the fantastic mods that people have put so much time and effort into. 2020 110 D200 Base - Pangea with satin paint protection 2015 90 XS Station Wagon (sold) 2010 110 XS Station Wagon (stolen) |
