Would leave it off if not required think it looks a lot cleaner without.

Ive got a couple of friends in the trade & they always say that a non-molested Defender sells so much quicker than one thats been blinged up! Since 1973...S1, Air Portable's, Defender's, but only my Wolf TUL HS GS remains

It's been proven snorkels restrict airflow (in Pumas) so unless you need it, I'd say leave it off James

^^^^ Not if the rain separator is removed and larger piping used or both.
I have just the separator removed only on mine and when tested it was only ever so slightly less flow. So marginal it'd make no difference. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ Last edited by custom90 on 5th Feb 2017 8:45pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Cool Funny how things change, I really liked it on when I bought it. But now as I have become more Defender sophisticated I think it has to go👌

A snorkel is a functional add on. On that basis, I think they suit Defenders down to the ground but if you don't want it, leave it off. It's entirely optional.

You can do a lot without a snorkel, at least I can but I still fit one.

The decision may be out of my hands as it seems 200tdi vents are hard to come by

Except for the Nakatanenga top entry snorkel which is far less restrictive than the factory pipework. |
