Cheers mse & K9F After getting the egr and maf replaced the mileage I was getting improved from 22mpg to about 28mpg with the same kind of driving. It is too early to tell if the remaps I have will increase the mpg or not, but so far its looking good It's good too see average fuel usage across the board so to speak, as it has given me a base line. When I first got the landy I was getting 30mpg +. And now realise this was down to me running the engine in and taking it easy. That was the last time I really monitored the fuel usage as the price of fuel isn't really an issue with me, however not monitoring the fuel usage allowed problems to start without me noticing them, apart from the tank mileage going down there were no other tell tales until I plugged in the Nanocom that is. So the moral of the story for me is to keep an eye on mpg too see if the maf goes again. There is a very interesting study done by K&N about the MAF sensor due to them being blamed for the failures due to the use of their filter oil. Read it HERE
EDIT: there are a few Ford dealerships listed |

Thanks for that...will have a read My grandad told me early in my life that monitoring your mpg was the first way to ID a problem or potential problem with the car...so I always have, turns out he knows his stuff I was coming at it from first...why is the mpg going down and second what's going on with these faults...all the components can't be screwed.
