My Two pennies worth:
Should have had a clear defined exit strategy before polling booths opened, would have saved 2plus years of misery. All MPs don't get paid until this sh*t is sorted, think it would get done in weeks, like many of us job finished you get paid. There is no scenario that is better for us post brexit than what we have now.
The UK will have to give something up in order to get back border control, something that isn't causing us problems anyway (the problems are from poor investment in resources and infrastructure by the last few governments. Immigrants are net contributors to the HMRC purse). So why would you do it? Why leave the single market, the biggest market in the world, and go begging to Trump, someone who is withdrawing rights for woman, rounding up immigrants and building walls. I do understand that we all want things to improve and be better, we've all experienced hard times of late. But I don't know why we're leaving the EU to fix it. I can't see what we'll gain from border control that will suddenly fix the lack of investment by government. |
