The alloy one you can get from a dealer - the some SVX kit though requires an svx vin number - ive been meaning to get one, but time escapes Mike

Good point raised here, my TD5 XS had a leather gear knob. Now it's got a crappy plastic Transit one.

I have the solid cast alloy one on my SVX - with a sock over it so it doesn't get frozen to my hand! First, Last - or Different!

On the web site it shows the Defender with a completly different gearknob,must have been a pre prod car,also the rear Defender badge is solid like the bonnet script. 2.4 90 XS

and the dash was a little different - there are a few production changes - makes you see what a rip off the SVX was as alot of them went on that! Mike |

I wasnt making a dig at the SVX buyers - just the amount of parts they took off the production car to save costs on the R&D of the 60th! Mike |
