Sometimes I catch myself wanting to give Jeeps (with a capital J) a wave, after all the better lot of them share a love for cars with heritage and history, 4x4 and often the outdoors. Most of them likely are as passionate about their Wranglers as we are about our Defenders. So I don't see a reason for this fued, except for third parties calling our Landrovers a jeep (small j).

Of course it is all tongue in cheek, I don't have anything against Jeeps at all (although I would never own one

) however I ABSOLUTELY HATE it when people call defenders (or any other non jeep 4x4) a jeep

I see it as an opportunity to teach the unknowing and bore them to death with Land Rover talk as a punishment. They'll never call the Defender a jeep again
