Would take £9750 as the car sits now, or £8.5k on standard wheels + suspension...

In my limited experience I can't see why it isn't selling. Maybe your honest review of bad points is putting people off? Maybe get those sorted and it might sell better?
Was tempted to say buy Alpacaman's hood for the back might make it look more useable? It is about right price wise, I have been following a few on Ebay. Very similar to yours are going for £7.5k - £8.5k but that is with cheap wheels and little or no provenance. HR064 Hampshire and Berkshire 4x4 Response

I can't help but agree. Doors are a potential pain in the ass, a spigot bearing is engine or 'box out so immediately those are 2 significant barriers to sell. If you don't want to put any more money into the truck then maybe describe the doors in such a way as to indicate more accurately their condition and how long they'll last? That way it isn't an immediate cost for potential purchaser? Maybe the spigot could be described as "noisy"? Personally I would not consider this to have any service history if it is unsupported by any paperwork of any sort. I also don't trust the phrase "maintained regardless of expense" - it's a very grandiose phrase and easily used when there's nothing available to prove ... or otherwise! Obviously since you've owned it, it has been maintained correctly and had some nice upgrades but that is only recent. I think it's a decent, honest truck but I think you're describing it a bit bluntly which may be putting people off. |

Another little bump
Going to get a new spigot bush before it's sold. Wouldn't be happy selling it the way it is Passenger doors are not as bad as I remember. Drivers rear door is, and requires repair to the frame If there is still no joy, I'll put a years MOT on it in April, and stick it on eBay. If it sells, it sells. If not, I'll keep it and work a bit harder |
