Hi all
I have a set of new LED headlights but when fitted they appear to work fine until you indicate left or right, at with point the High beam illuminates on the selected side. This dose switch back to normal after a short period. Cant think why this is happening best guess is that it senses a V drop in the internal controls. Anyone have an idea as to the problem and how to deal with it? Thanks |

No indicators are standard and as far as i am aware not even on the same circuit ? But turn right = right hand high beam, same for left. ???? No power windows though she is an old bird.

If be taking a look at the state of the earths. I can't say it is an earth problem but most problems of this type usually are so it would pay to check their security and cleanliness.

As above. Earths are the likely culprit. Bad earths can cause all manner of interesting light related issues. Ever followed someone that is indicating and pretty much all the lights on the back are flashing...!? Bad earths...
On my old 200tdi the only way to sort out the odd lighting issues was to rewire all the earths seperately to the chassis. Never had a problem after that. |
